ok so I am a turd and didn't read this before installing the wallet from the first page of the forum. I have no connections. I came here and saw this. Probably an amateur move but I sent coins to my wallet before realizing it wasn't connecting. so I go to the google drive and download those files and then try to find a way to copy it my user\appdata\Silkcoin folder ??
Yes.
Download the silkcoin.zip file, it's around 800megs. Extract it once it's done. Then use the search feature for windows, and search for %APPDATA%
Once you're there click "roaming" then goto the silkcoin dir.
Then move everything over, everything from the extracted silkcoin.zip file, to the silkcoin folder you found in the %APPDATA% search. Overwrite all.
I just confirmed this works, and gets you to a fairly recent block height. so you don't have to wait for your wallet to sync.
You might have to move the files over as admin, there should be an option for it when it prompts you to overwrite.
Don't delete or play with your wallet.dat file. Your silk should show up once you're done.
