Oh forget it, I can see what happened here and where it is going.
Gaia is up 100% the last day. Obviously the devs helping Covertress
are Gaia devs with a boatload and bought more because they will
be able to swap them. This is just starting to smell real fishy.
I'm out unless there is an explanation, swap drop, and purpose for
the coin other than money grab.
You have a valid point, but I don't think it's wrong for the devs to have their own skin in the game. The buy-up of GAIA prior to this announcement would be insider trading, and illegal in hell in regulated markets, but this is crypto, so there is no rule and nobody to enforce any supposed moral corollary.
Bottom line Covertress is quite active in the space so aside from finding an economical way to fund her dev team with earnings potential, I would trust that she is going to follow through with this to a point. Trust enough to trade on it, anyway.
