Microcephaly by itself is not always dangerous. I have read reports about people affected by microcephaly becoming successful entrepreneurs in their adult lives, with no negative effect on the brain functions. Also, there are hundreds of causes for Microcephaly. Zika is only one of the possible causes. Others include Edward syndrome, Toxoplasmosis.etc.
