People always go back to gambling because there's nothing to do and bored. So better find an activity like do gym, find a job in real life and hang out with your friends.

Getting married and making family is also a good method to stay away from gambling.
In some people this may work for them but I have known some with a family a father of two keeps on gambling everytime he has lots of money and that turn into an addiction that is the time when his family stay out from gambling.
