IMO apart from having fun I think there is no real advantages in gambling.
Most of gamblers loose money in the end.
So if you can afford to loose some money for the thrill of maybe winning more go ahead and bet some money, otherwise stay away from those site.

the chances of winning a big amount is also considered as an advantage I guess, it needs some luck though but i am pretty sure if you have experienced winning big, you might realize it was an advantage
