In my country the churches do not pay taxes. And it is much cheaper to start a church for less than 1 BTC you can register the documents of the church and do not need a minimal amount of followers.
Many churches are used for tax evasion purposes of taxes and money laundering.
Churches are also used by political groups as electoral corrals and to persecute minorities.

i dont understand this thing.. why dont churches or any other prayer halls pay any taxes? can anybody explain this to me please ?
It depends on the country. It's a privilege inherated from Midle Age customs.
But in decent and civilized countries as France they do pay taxes though :3
But not a lot as they're all more or less associations.
