I am having a problem getting a solid connection i get 1 active connection for a few seconds and
then right back to zero i am wondering if my internet provider is blocking the connection Huh

Here is the transfer.conf that is linked in the OP it has nodes included. Use that and then restart the wallet.

I did that as well but still won't connect.

Try using this port=9999 instead of 17170

Also add the below line above the nodes list.

maxorphanblocks=10000

it seems to be working now i have two connections thanks bro
