I have been researching the recommended fees and I guess what I used is half of that. I will be sure to use the standard fee next time, it just sucks that I might have to wait days now.

All you can do is wait but you don't need to worry as this is a common mistake people make especially after they here bitcoin is free to send etc. I'm sure you'll remember to include a sufficient fee next time
