Bitcoins New Normal Is Slow and FrustratingOn Monday, bitcoin users were up in arms about their transactions taking a long time to be processed by the network, potentially foreshadowing dark, deeply annoying times for the cryptocurrency.
In the past, network slowdowns were the work of hackers or other malicious actors. But this time, the reason for the frustration appears to be much more unsettling and banal. In the absence of any obvious spam transactions or attackers claiming responsibility, some users complained that the bitcoin network is slowing down simply because people are using it the way its meant to be used.
http://motherboard.vice.com/read/bitcoin-new-normal-slow-confirmation-block-size-debate Is this clogging up of the big blockchain a good thing for us smaller faster coins, Im thinking they will have to streamline accepted transactions or raise fees possible to reflect the burden on their network as time goes on.
I see this as a normal effect, any economy has to shake out the failure from its system. Its just a normal process a working system has to go through, hopefully this helps blackcoin get more attention for its efficiency

Didnt really hear steam does BTC now but thats cool as Valve has created a miniture economy there on quite a few games and I know cryptocoins are already interesecting with that. No bad thing as these are games with many millions of players customising with regular purchases occuring in micro transactions/dlc ; an ideal online small trading atmosphere
