Yeah the ultimate goal is that bitcoin should be widely used and widely accepted, even if it doesn't replace fiat, no big deal, as people who are comfortable with bitcoin, will never use fiat.
Yes it does not matter whether bitcoin will replace fiat currency or not because its not practical to replace fiat currency but once more and more people start using bitcoin then it will become like credit card but the only difference is in bitcoin we will have control over our money and i am comfortable with bitcoin.
