What you are fogetting is the phrase in most jurisdictions "innocent until proven guilty"
I belive that they are legitimate as they offer a way of mining at a price that does actually change. They say that they take a fee of 20% which is fully legit. The fact that they don't share this information of how much they have taken doesn't really do very much.
How can you prove that Hashnest are legit? They've been paying for 2 years yes, but they could be a ponzi, we just don't know?

"Innocent until proven guilty" is completely irrelevant to handing money over to some website.
And some other site being or not being legit has no bearing on this particular case either.
There is absolutely no justification under any circumstances or jurisdictions to not perform due diligence when parting with your money. If you act under a "belief" rather than facts (or lack thereof) - may God help you because nothing else will.
