I've created different versions of the PVRs to see if there's a clearer way to convey the data.

Here is the PVR with the 'current max block size' sub-rectangle eliminated, leaving only three sub-rectangles in the PVR:



I also tried reversing the order of the 3-sub-rectangle configuration:



I was thinking that the last one might actually be more skeuomorphic, with the idea that the largest max block size change would be further away, and therefore visually smaller.
