I am pretty sure you will end up sellling your VAL on c-cex in exchange to DOGE , you will have difficulties exchanging it to BTC in any exchange site. That's how I end up
I just sold my vals for Dogecoins as you adviced above, because it's very hard to sell it for bitcoins till now
