Trust me, you are not the only one worried, I am worried too but math is math.  The dev said that a total of 85 Million Lisks shall be proportionally distributed to all donators ("investors") at the end of the ICO which will take place on March 21, 2016.  What's happening here is that way too many people are getting onboard on the ICO thus causing each Lisk price to be worth more and adjusting our holdings to reflect a lesser, but expensive amount in such a way that at the end of the ICO all of the Lisks that you will be left with will be worth exactly the same as your initial investment.  Your, and our ROI would only start to happen after people continue to buy into Lisk AFTER the ICO is over.

On the surface it might be seen that its a bad idea for more people to get onboard before the ICO is over since it will make each Lisk more expensier and will degrade the amount of Lisk allocated to us (who wouldn't? it would have been sweet for the ICO to end with only $500,000 and then for the market cap to increase to $10 million dollars giving us like a 20x ROI), but we have been told that the more money the Dev gets on the ICO, the more funds they would have to make Lisk better, so in a way it could be seen as good because we get to have a better product ("Lisk") and the potential of it getting new investors after the ICO is over.  So, lets say we get to start with a $2 Million market cap and then the market cap increases to $500 Million, that represents a 250x ROI and lets say I end up with just 100,000 Lisks x 250 = $272,650 not bad for an initial investment of $2,450 worth of BTC's (2.66 BTC) because the dev did something great that everyone likes about Lisks and now everyone is buying up Lisk ... OR a Poloniex Pump got started, etc. however it gets there, I would be greatly satisfied with such a ROI.

So, in short conclusion, the more money the dev can get thought the ICO, the more money they will have to make Lisk better and the more palatable Lisk will seem to be for the society further increasing the market cap later on after the ICO is over and it is this exponential market cap increase after the ICO is over that will finally give US ROI (Return On Investment).
