Dunno why, but this reply makes this scream "SCAM!" to me.  Maybe I'm being paranoid?

Fair enough, it's always good to be a bit paranoid when buying/selling things on the Internet (especially Bitcoins!).  But given that I'm specifically marketing this offer as a service to help out new guys, should you be entirely surprised that someone with no post history replied to it?

Rather than confiding in whatever comments I may receive here from new posters, you can take a look at my Web of Trust rating from trading in the #bitcoin-otc channel:

I am also listed in a few of the "List of honest traders" and "A list of Trusted Dwolla Traders" threads here on the forum.  I have not been particularly active posting here in the forum but I have been quite active trading in the IRC channel for several months now.

I've actually been casually running this offer for some time in the IRC channel since discovering the Chase Quickpay service and since it's working out pretty well and people seem to like it I recently decided to open it up to a wider audience with the forum post.  Since the PayPal crackdown and closure of CoinPal and Bitcoin Morpheus there aren't many other good options for new guys to quickly/easily get involved.

So again, it's good to be a bit paranoid and I appreciate your skepticism, but this is an honest offer to use a relatively fraud-free payment processor to deal with a reputable trader with a good rating and a long, documented trading history.  You could do a lot worse!

ps: if I was really a scammer I would have offered to BUY Bitcoins for PayPal!   Wink
