Why quit if you like it. I say do what you like in life
spirit like yours is just naive and childish. lots of harmful things like drugs, alcohol, cigarette,... lots of people like them, love them, but they should and must stop. gambling is one of those.
Isn't life about enjoying what is available to you? But you still have to know what is wrong from right. That is not naive that is having sense in what you chose to do with the little time you have. Why live a miserable life condemning yourself to not having fun?
