If you were already running tekcoin, I only updated my wallet with the 2.4.0.0 version and it was good to go, a complete redownload of the blockchain was not necessary.
As long as you update before the hard fork on april 6th, you're good.
Does not matter if you use the snapshots provided only took about 2hrs , thanks for that
