Lazy to read the link since Im not used to read articles from coindesk. About the bank threaten by bitcoin that is an old story but definitely not a big deal as for me.in my opinion Coindesk is more valid than most of the other news bitcoin sites, this may not be true always but it is much better that the rest of them.
