While the Newbie posting makes sense in that deters Trolls, isn't there a more interesting way to disincentive Trolls instead of making folks be longed on for 4 hour and make at least 5 posts.

I wonder if we could use the power of Bitcoin to solve the Trolling issue. Such as members of the forum needing to donate some fractional amount of BTC in order to move out of the Newbie area. That way if a Troll is setting up accounts and getting himself booted on a regular basis he is losing money. Right now any persistant Troll just has to slap up 5 random posts in the Newbie section and wait 4 hours for each account he creates.

We are the Bitcoin community after all and BTCs can be used for much more than exchanging and storing value, I hear of folks thinking of creative way of fixing titles and important records and all kinds of stuff to a BTC.

Anyone think this a good idea for really solving the trolling issue? I look forward to your thoughts.
