I wonder if it will be less than 3 months to 4k?
What's the maximum amount desired? I know we could reduce collateral if the number dropped significantly if needed (500 DASH collateral if nodes less than 1000).
I'm curious because imagine if we end up with 4500 MNs at current total circulation. Over 4,500,000 million coins in reserve! Crazy!
In other news, this is the second morning around 6-8 am UTC where we got a big boost, let's hope we can use 0.0148 as a floor going forward!
Evan originally had a goal of 3000. I remember a long time ago, in the beginning, that 10,000 was mentioned as being "max" and too many. He didn't want any more than that. I guess at some point you have diminishing returns. Remember, he wants to be able to require high speed and lots of storage. Right now we don't need to run heavy duty VPSs but when Evolution kicks off, we'll need some minimum specifications, which will need to increase over time. 3000 powerful VPS is far more desirable than 10,000 weak ones.
I suspect that we won't be able to support more than 4000-4500 in the end
