Of course gambling can be profitable. Many people have become successful by gambling. But those same people who have become successful also have lost much money.
It is not guaranteed that you will become successful with gambling.
I dont think that successful word is suitable for gambling because gambling is luck games so what you got here is just part of your luck. If you are lucky enough sure you can win big but if you are not lucky you will lose everything. If they success why they still playing it? I think some of them not really win though, they just recover some of their big loss
