Go to your drop down menu and open the debug window.  Under the middle tab type in (with quotations):  "repairwallet"

Quit the wallet, open it back up and you should be fine.  Just keep trying to send your coins.  Eventually you will be able to.  I sent coins in smaller batches to speed up the process instead of 1 lump send.
