Everything can be used for illegal transactions. Probably USD in the form of cash is still the most used tool for illegal activities. I guess EUR is the second.

Well you can trace the all transactions around on adres just cant know who is the person behind it,anyway the silk road showed people were using bitcoin to deals ,soo sure bitcoin and fiat keep being used to this kind of stuffs and there is nothing police can do against.
