Well the v2.2.9.1:VOIP-ALPHA wallet synced yesterday and is running now with no issues, some blocks took awhile but had no issues really. Didnt need to bootstrap or anything. 10 connections currently. So the wallet can be used now like normal?

apparently not, bought from trex, showed up but wont confirm, so is this boot strap time or what? the wallet on trex has been showing long block time updates, could this be it, the last one was like days long.
