I disagree. Technical differences are quickly large enough that you can't talk solely of "opinions" when comparing them.
For instance, compare the Monero code base now, and the Monero code base 1.5 years ago. I woudn't call that an opinion, in fact this is quantifiable enough to be called a technical "fundamental".
Economically, I agree there isn't much fundamentals to talk about. Apart from Bitcoin, no crypto really has any ecosystem at all.
