Hey there, I currently have 4 S3 miners. I am going to purchase an S5 soon. What do most of you guys do with your old miners? Do you guys sell your old miners or just use them in your mining software?
This is why people should turn to cloud mining, so that they do not have to deal with old hardware sales to recover initial investments.

But he has hardware worth money still be likely could get 40-50 dollars each.  So 160-200 dollars after selling and can be used to buy more bitcoins.  You have been trolling speculation hard with your sig.  But it will not help.

Fact is simple having hardware is nice as you own something.  Heck if he gets 50 each that's almost half a S7 at this point.   So lot's of options for him having these units.

That is true. With the hardware ASIC miner, in the winter, you can heat your house with that. With cloud mining, you cannot.

I personally don't run a miner at a loss for heat.   At a point I did run mines that were profitable in certain rooms for free heat, but after going a little bigger and getting a mining area with power all ran to it I ended up just mining them in it this winter.  And did not go for free heat messing around with putting them in separate rooms.

I think the bigger thing is the part about being able to sell it at the end.  Even S3's 40-50 bucks buy BTC with sells... you get a little extra.  In day's where ROI is harder I take all the extra profit I can squeeze out of miners, which includes selling previous gen gear.
