When you send from an exchange you are not sending from your exchange deposit address, you are sending from one of the exchange's hot wallets. You have no way to sign a message to verify ownership. I am not sure how this ICO will be handling things, but since anyone can see the transactions on the investment ledger someone may be able to show the transaction and claim it is their transaction if they were to gain access to your Gamebet account.
It takes two minutes to set up a blockchain.io wallet. Maybe the dev could give some assurances regarding the matter but it is always smart to invest from a wallet you have control over.
