To be honest, I'm still using PayPal at the moment. I need both. PayPal just created a new way to receive payment without revealing your pseudo. I thought it was ingenius.
Sometimes I use Bitcoin more often than PayPal as paypl can sometimes be frustrating in terms of possible "stuck in limbo" transactions. Of course that can also happen with Bitcoin but it is quite less possible. At least with my experience.
PayPal is where I get payments for my eBay account. It's also the account for my Letgo account. If I could use Bitcoin, I would. It cannot for those sites so it's good for me to be able to have both options available to me and not have to select only one single primary money transfering system.

In terms of getting your own Bitcoin, you could attempt loans. Maybe. Or, you could still work as I believe I had previously mentioned at some point in time. Not sure what works for you though, that would be the case.
You could quite possibly start up a small business and ask for your funds to be given to you through Bitcoin. It's the easier way I can think of. You'll actually be contributing your part to the Bitcoin community in terms of showing that we are normal people with normal lives.
