MtGox isnt a bank, but they still have a fiduciary responsibility to handle their customers' money with a certain amount of care, don't they?
Are there any other usd/btc exchanges with decent marketshare besides mtgox? I've been out of the loop for a while
Any suggestions as to how I might get MtGox to pay some of these ridiculous fees themselves? I admit I made a mistake (twice) by using bank info that wouldnt work, but I don't think that excuses my money disappearing with no explanation for over a month. And I still haven't gotten an explanation as to why that happened, instead just a notice saying "Here's your money" which is over $140 short (because of fees) off the $640 it was before. That's over TWENTY PERCENT in fees!
So now there is $500 in my mtgox account. They don't seem like they have two brain cells to rub together over there at the Mtgox offices in Japan, based on their emails. Should I just take what I can get and run, do another wire transfer req, pay another transfer fee, end up getting about $450 and just count my blessings (such as they are or are not)?
Or should I try to fight this?
