Yes, Burst mining only uses your GPU or CPU for about 10-20 seconds depending on your configuration every 4 minutes. If you are using HHD, you won't even be using 100% of the GPU/CPU while reading. A final question, maybe a bit hard to answer : what lifetime can I except from a new HDD running 24/7 BURST ?
