Why switch? There can be more than one. Coins and technologies are not jealous on each other 

There are altcoins that - imho - have already better features than Bitcoin. I own some of this and some of that.
But you know, you don't have the smartest and the best to be the king. Bitcoin is still the king and will be for a while...
