Without longpole us little miners are dead in the water
Why? Long polling does not affect mining profit so much. Of course it improve stale rate a bit, but mostly it is performance optimization on pool side...
On the other side, I don't understand why (with current difficulty) is somebody still mining with CPU
hashing bad getworks is a loss ... quiting too soon just to get another getwork is a waste
as to Why I'm still using cpu's .. there free and still work
