Both the AES_NI and SSE2 versions have about a 10% performance boost over the other miners.

good morning, thanks for sharing updates , but i dont even know how to compile this miner , i was trying to use wolf cpu miner but crases on my xeon e3 1230 v2 on win 10 64 bits , using currently old miner for hodl
Yup, no AES_NI on that CPU. cpuminer-opt is not available for Windows so keep using hodlminer
or switch to linux.
e3-1230 has AES. Must be something else.
