If bitcoin were easy to change at the consensus level, why would you trust in it?
Exactly. Bitcoin was designed to be change-resistant unless there is consensus (e.g. upgrades).
It may have already died.
It has not.
There's more than a thousand other cryptocurrencies so we are not too worried about a cryptocurrency fad dissipating.
99% of those cryptocurrencies are garbage.
Yeah bitcoin still has long way to go, this is just an beginning and we will be seeing much better bitcoin in future, small dumps will never affect the future of bitcoin.
People need to be less focused on the price and definitely need to panic less when it goes down. 1 Bitcoin will always be worth 1 Bitcoin.
