This logo is a bit to hard to read and doesn't really have anything that says what the site is about.
Yeah I like to keep it as simple, yet good, as possible. I'm thinking that maybe you will want signature designs in the future, and the more details a logo has, the harder it is for us to make sigs out it it. 
Good idea.
