Nah. If tx was never broadcasted the first time around, bitcoins have never left the wallet, so nothing is lost.
Still kudos to wetsuit for paying that extra BTC1 and for not running away with that BTC77
But can't figure out how could someone accumulate that much. Probably either lucky gambler or just used freebitcoin as an online wallet.
