The amount of Sprouts that were on Cryptsy doesn't matter because it was one of the 60 or so alts they allowed ppl to withdraw it after they stopped all trading. The point I was making about the cryptsy scandal is that it nearly bankrupted some people who had a lot of Bitcoin, Ripple, and other valuable assets and a lot of people with big losses just got out of the game entirely after that. I for one have nearly stopped trading since then and I didn't lose nearly as much as some. Even before Cryptsy stopped trading, people in the know we're liquidating their assets and getting it out-probably friends of Big Vern.
For now, I just stake and save, with a giveaway here and there to friends or on cryptopia to spread the joy of sprouts. I feel that Sprouts still has quite a bit of potential, as does Tekcoin. Im also staking Turbo and StrongHands, but I have less hope for those two, lol.
The coin supply for Sprouts is not out of control yet, it's still just fine, however, it's rising a little faster than is probably good for it. A reduction in staking yield would be very helpful for price. I'd personally like to see it reduced to somewhere around 80-100% APR at the most. Something like 0.25% per day would be good. 2% per day was fine at first, but it's not sustainable long term. I do realize that DOGE has over 103 Billion coins, and that sprouts could easily go to 200 sat even with 3 times its current coin supply, but it's the rate at which it's rising that will keep the price from going to the moon. That's my though of the matter anyway.
With that said, Sprouts will eventually go up in a big way, and it won't be too long from now!
