Pardon my noobness but.. why is it some configs need dummy plugs on the gpus...
You need just one dummy on one card if you are not using a monitor. Once upon a time u needed on all cards because MSI Afterburner wouldn't clock cards with no monitors. I couldn't get the drivers working without plugs. I'd already made them all and attached em, so I just let them be
