Van gaal can't rule out Wayne Rooney because he is the captain of the team, I think Rooney will be in sliding to play as a midfielder.
There are some other better midfielder then rooney and I as manchester united fans do think that rooney needs to get back to his form before deciding wether he or rashford will be the main striker for united. They could as well use two striker to give better support for rashford in the frontline
how about with antonio martial if rooney re-placed as striker together with rashford, and i think van gaal have come across who should fill that position.
Not a good idea for van gaal to put 2 young players at a time that not had experience enough.
There must be 1 senior player like rooney if manchester united want to use 2 strikers formation I think.
Rashford are in best form and martial promising but I don't think it will be good if they play together because of lack experience and young ego.
Let's face it. We all hoped it but he did not deliver. I am surprised he haven't been sacked already. He made too many wrong choices; giving Rooney so much trust, then buying very
expensive players whom did not deliver.
