Female leadership gets criticise & judged harshly, by both men and women alike.
It comes from a feeling within individuals that female leadership does not 'sit right'. Female leadership feels 'wrong' at a primal, 'gut' level.
Female leadership feels 'risky'.
Humans don't have an evolutionary experience with women leading groups.
Very good response this really makes me think and I often catch myself in biases relating to sexual orientation.
It kind of what I am trying to figure out with Hilary Clinton,is it the suits that bother me or the actual issues of her being a warhawk that is in the pocket.
They all end up in the pocket some how through greed or exploitation,so not sure why it bothers me so much. She feels insincere and I can not get past that.
There must be something to women also knowing they are viewed in this way and it feeding into how they present themselves to the public.
Sometimes they over act or over react to get the message across and that has to be something they have studied with their handlers.
