I started to answer this question for a little while but I'm figuring out I don't fully understand your question. Could you elaborate on how BitCrystals for promo could be used ?
If theirs policy is to get part of revenue, then is troublesome. My point was that there was huge chunk of BitCrystals reserved for Awareness & Promotion. All4Games will be partner that will help SoG with Awareness & Promotion. So should be paid from this bag.
It adds to my confusion, that I have no ideas for what will/was this 15 millions BitCrystals used. If they will be efficiently used for Awareness & Promotion, then All4Games will not really need to do much but just take part of revenue.
At the end is less important how they will get paid, but that they will do their job.
The revenue share is a standard within the industry it is not troublesome it's the way things work.
The game hasn't even launched yet, those BCY could be used in many different ways to setup prizes for tournaments, give rewards to users that test SoG (that is already happening), bounties, etc...
There is still a long way to go for the game to improve and be complete and after that plenty of uses for these BCY.
Having that reserve is necessary, as well as all4games getting their cut of revenue.
As Yodark mentioned if it doesn't work, after a year things can go either way.
I have confidence the team is doing the right thing with this proposal and BCY.
And the fact they ask the community before they take a decision as big as this it is a +1000 for me.
