Ok so after a few experiences in loaning I'd say:
It's risky but not if you use plateforms like BTC jam. Not that they get you really secured (they don't) but they allow you to loan lot's of little amounts. And if you diversify your investments a lots it becomes really less risky!

These P2P lending sites had their share of the limelight, but now the defaults seem to be catching up there too.
Defaults are going to be appearing everywhere over the next little while, since we're getting close to the halving a lot of people are going to try and run off with what they can to make money with, and then sell once they've made their share.

P2P used to be good, but it isn't all that profitable anymore, because you'll probably lose more in a few defaults than you'll make over time.
