Just a tip though, the more transparency you provide to investors, the less they will be on your back about providing updates and such... You know, grab the bull by the horns type of deal.
Absolutely constant updates. See kobocoin Ann page for a great example of a dev that keeps people informed. I'd use his approach as a template.
