I'm thinking that the BTC halving has nothing to do with the increase. More news is coming out from the team, end of the month so people have been paid, the April 10% bonus is about to end. Several factors weighing in that can help the influx of funds to the Waves ICO. If many believed that the price of BTC would increase after the halving, I would instead think that others would choose not to invest in the ICO but rather hold their BTC and hope for a increased dollar value, and maybe look to buy Wave tokens after the project launch.
