I've made it very clear: The core developer of Bitcoin will NOT be fooled by a simple trick/scam as the one displayed by Craig Wright, yet Gavin has staked his reputation on this and backed Craig Wright's claim (see Gavin's twitter feed), why do you think that is? The truth is they're both in on this deception!  

This leaves [DannyHamilton] with five possibilities:

• Gavin has lost his ability to think properly
• Gavin is part of a conspiracy
• Craig Wright is a better scammer than I can comprehend
• Craig Wright got a hold of some of Satoshi's private keys somehow
• Craig Wright is Satoshi
