Might want to get a different power strip, not sure how many joules that one can handle but it doesn't look too modern.
It's rated for 15 amps and it is older than most of the users of this forum. It is my original power strip from my first computer, an Apple IIc. It's built like a tank, they don't make stuff like it anymore, literally. I think lightning could hit it and it would keep working.That was what I was guessing
. There are some of these older power strips that are truly amazing. I love some of my old metal ones that work great, I don't have many at this point.But those who have not used/touched some of these old beasts don't understand how much better made they were then today. Today they are all plastic almost to keep costs down. They really are like tanks on these good old ones.
