Thank you for posting this. I have discovered this in my research as well. What I don't understand is why NEM continues to languish in valuation and is so lightly traded. I have seen so many garbage coins and cloned platforms have so much more hype. Was just curious to the thoughts of others. I am not trading my NEM for nothing!
Well, although features are good. They only influence price indirectly, through speculation. People who are here for a quick win want hype(s) and speculation. But in the long run, it's not the best that can happen.
That's because features alone won't give us a sustainable higher price.
Only applications using NEM in real life situations will add real value. And a sustainable higher price will be the automatic result of those applications.
Building applications, that should be the main focus IMO. That's why I consider the press releases about the two Japanese consortia much more important than speculation or hypes as a result of marketing or media attention alone.
