Blockchain as online (hot storage) and electrum as offline (cold storage). It has been many years now I use two wallets and there are no problems when used.
Do not store in a single bitcoin wallet.
I use blockchain since they are here for a long they. Sure that is a possibility that they do a runner. But still i do trust them money then any other online wallet.
I thought it could not be a guarantee that long or not a wallet will make it safe, especially with the online wallet. Always to be able to anticipate the possibility that will happen unless you surrender to what will happen in the future with your bitcoin.
Learn from some of the events that has happened is a good thing. I'm not saying it's not good or bad, but do not store eggs in one basket.
