It's already 2016$ and I don't think this is going to happen unless we are at least couple of months behind the halving block reward or after it .
Yeah we are almost halve way in to 2016 and there is no sign yet of the price being $1000 any time soon. I guess that this will be happening in 2017 or 2018 but not now. We are not even at $500 so for it to be $1000 is pretty unlikely.
That speculation is here because of the halving and everyone believe that after halving the price will boost up and about two months are still here for the halving so we have to wait for the halving and I sure that the price after halving will increase to $1000.
