why are you expecting litecoins to appear in your addresses in the first place?

well forever if you're waiting for LTC to appear in your address out of nowhere. you just asked "why didn't I get LTC" without explaining about who or what you're supposed to get it from.
Here You can see transaction to my wallet and my balance, which is not visible in Litecoin QT:
